diameter. The column carries a load of 360 KN. Find stresses in
concrete and the steel bars take Es = 2.1 x 10 N/mm.
Econ = 0.14 x 10' N/mm.​

σc =  (∑c/∑c) ∑s

σc =  σ s/15 ....(iii)

Putting the value  σ0 in equation (ii)

360 x 103 = σs (2513.27 + 6000)

σc = 2.819 N/mm2
