For refraction at spherical surface

n2/v- n1/u = (n2-n1) /  R

(3/2)/v- 1/-10 = (1/2) / 10

3/2v = -1/20

v = -30 cm

therefore Image is at 30 cm behind curved surface when seen from glass

From flat face it is at 40 cm in glass when it is observed from air

dapp = d / refractive index = 40/ (3/2)

       = 26.67  cm​​​​​
