Let x be subtracted from each number.

Then the numbers are (19-x), (26-x), (35-x) and (50-x).

(19-x)(26-x)=(35-x)(50-x)

=>494-19x-26x+x²=175-35x-50x+x²

=>494-175=45x-85x

=>-40x=319

=>x=-319/40

=>x=-7.9

Hence, -7.9 should be subtracted from each number for the remainders to be proportional.
