smallest  6 digits=100000

                            =10^5

 square root of 10^5=

√10^5=100√10= 316.23  ( √10=3.1623)

Now, to be the smallest number of six digits, the number must be greater than (316.23^2) and it's square root must be an integer.

the nearest integer to 316.23 that is greater than itself is 317.

therefore the smallest 6 digits perfect square will be=

317^2=100489
