Given :   BB₁ = B₁B₂ = B₂B₃=B₃B₄=B₄B₅

BC = 6 cm

To Find : BC'

a) 10 cm b) 9cm c) 8 cm d) 6 cm

Solution:

BB₁ = B₁B₂ = B₂B₃=B₃B₄=B₄B₅  = x

=> BB₃ = BB₁  +  B₁B₂ +  B₂B₃  = 3x

BB₅  = 5

ΔBB₃C ~ ΔBB₅C'

using AA property

one angle is common

one pair is corresponding angle

BB₃ / BB₅ = BC/ BC'

=> 3x/5x = 6 /BC'

=> BC' = 10 cm

BC' = 10 cm is correct answer
