Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :--Gɪᴠᴇɴ,Temperature of Gurgaon  at 9 am during a particular day = 15 degrees

Temperature of Gurgaon at 9 pm = 9 degrees

therefore, temperature reduced from 9am to 9pm = (15-9) = 6 degrees

time took to reduce = 9am to 9pm

                                 = 12 hours

Temperature of Mumbai at 9am = 11 degrees

Temperature of Mumbai at 12 mid night = 6 degrees

therefore, temperature reduced from 9am to 12 mid night = (11-6) = 5 degrees

time took to reduce = 9am to 12 mid night

                                 = 15 hours

That means, in Gurgaon, 1 degree is reduced in 2 hours

Whereas, in Mumbai, 1 degree is reduced in 3 hours

So we can conclude that the fall in Gurgaon is Greater.
