Explanation:

Let the age of person P = 2x years

Let the age of person Q = 5x years

Let the age of person R = 9x years

According to question,

The difference of the ages of P and R is 21 years.

|2x-9x| = 21years

          7x = 21

           x = \frac{21}{7}

           x = 3years

Therefore, the age of  Q = 5x \\

                                       = 5* 3  

                                    = 15 years
