Answer:

Given :

Area of trapezium = 368 cm²

Height = 16 cm

One of the parallel sides = 20 cm

To Find :

Length of other parallel side

Solution :

We know that,

→ Area of parallelogram = 2 × Sum of parallel sides x Height

Let the other parallel sides be x :

→ 368 = 1/2 × ( 20 + x) × 16

→ 368 = (20 + x) × 8

→ 20 + x = 368 / 8

→ 20 + x = 46

→ x = 46 - 20

⇒ x = 26

Other parallel sides = 26 cm

20)))

Since, length of the parallel sides are 14cm and 12cm and height (h)=6 cm

By using the formula

Area of trapezium =1/2×(sum of parallel sides)×height

=1/2×(14+12)×6

=78cm2
