Given :
- Sides of rectangle are, 16m & 7m
- Diameter of semi-circle = 7m
To find :
- Area of Given figure
- Perimeter of given figure
Formula used :
- Area of rectangle = length× Breadth
- Area of semi-circle = πr²/2
- Perimeter of semi-circle = πr + d
Solution :
◈ Area of given figure = Area of semi-circle{1} + Area of rectangle + Area of semi-circle{2}
◈ Perimeter of given figure = (Perimeter of semi-circle{1} - diameter) + (2× long side of rectangle) + (Perimeter of semi-circle{2} - diameter)
➩ Perimeter of given figure = { ( πr + d) - d } + (2×16) + { (πr +d )- d }
➩ Perimeter of given figure = πr + (32) + πr
ANSWER :
- Area = 150.5 m²
- Perimeter = 54 m
