Myopia or short sightedness is the defect in which person is unable to focus far off objects clearly. This happens as the eye is unable to relax its eye lens enough to form the image on retina and the final image is formed in front of retina. This causes the person to see blurred images of far off objects

Hypermetropia or long sightedness : It is the defect of human eye in which a person can see clearly objects at large distances from it. but cannot see nearby objects clearly. Correction : It is corrected by using spectacles having convex lens, which converges and shifts the image to retina from beyond. Answered By..
