Given

we have given equation 4x-3=21

To find

we have to find the value of (3x-5)

The above equation given is a linear equation in one variable with highest degree one.

Step by step explanation:

  1. First we make the variable terms and constant terms together
  2. solve and simplify the both term.
  3. Now,take Variable separate and shifts all term to constant side.
  4. we will find the variable value .

=>4x-3= 21

on the LHS 3 gets substracted so,when we move to RHS it will be added along with 21.

=>4x= 21+3

=>4x=24

Now, 24 is divisible by 4 by 6 so, make Variable 'x' separate and shifts 4 to constant side say 24 .

=>x= 24÷ 4

=>x=6

X=6

Check:

=>4x-3=21

=>4(6)-3

=>24-3

=>21

Now,we have to find (3x-5)

=>3(6)-5

=>18-5

=>13

Hence, value of (3x-5) is 13.
