1) Shrimps die due to dehydration. Puddle of water formed by Rainstorm lasts for at max 2 weeks, so Shrimps also survive 2 weeks only. Shrimps are resistant to hot weather conditions but can;t survive without water, Hence, dies when water dries out.

2) Camels have large feet, almost like Snowshoes. This prevent Camels from Sinking in Sand.

Camels have a large water retention capacity, almost equal to 118 liters water. So, they drink a large amount of water together and stores it in their Humps and consume it as and when required, Hence being able to survive witjout drinking water for even a week.
