Hiii friend,

Given :- 5/2 is one zero of the given polynomial.

P(X) => 2X²-8X-M

P(5/2) => 2 × (5/2)² - 8 × 5/2 - M

=> 2 × 25/4 - 20 /1 - M = 0

=> 25/2 - 20/1 - M = 0

=> 25 - 40 - 2M = 0 × 2

=> -15 - 2M = 0

=> 2M = -15

=> M = -15/2

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU....... :-)

Solution:-

given by equetion:-

p(x) = 2 {x}^{2}  - 8x - m \\ the \: zeroes \: are \:  \frac{5}{2}  \\ 2 \times  \frac{5}{2} \times  \frac{5}{2}   - 8  \times \frac{5}{2}   - m = 0 \\  \frac{25}{2}  - 20  - m = 0 \\  - m =  \frac{40 - 25}{2}  \\ m =  -  \frac{15}{2}  \\ the \: eqtion \: is = 2 {x}^{2}  - 8x +  \frac{15}{2}  = 0 \\  \alpha  =  \frac{5}{2}  \\  \beta  =   \frac{ - b}{a}  -  \frac{5}{2}  \\  \beta  =  \frac{8}{2}  -  \frac{5}{2}  \\  \beta  =   \frac{3}{2 }  \\ the \: secound \: zeroes \: is \:  \frac{3}{2}
