It seems that you've made mistakes in conversation from kilometres to metres & centimetres...

1km = 1000m \: or \:  {10}^{3}m  \\ = 100000cm \: or \:  {10}^{5}cm

&

1 \: billion \:  =  {10}^{9}

so,

1 \: billion \: km =  {10}^{9}km \\  =  {10}^{9} \times  {10}^{5} cm

 =  {10}^{9 + 5}  \: cm \\  =  {10}^{14} \:  cm

Step-by-step explanation:

1km = 1000m or  10³ m

= 100000cm or  10⁵ cm

&

1 billion  = 10⁹

so,

1 billion km

=  10⁹ km

=  10⁹ x 10⁵ cm

=  10⁹⁺⁵ cm

=  10¹⁴ cm
