Answer:

3.5(2πr) = πr^2

7πr = πr^2

πr(7) = πr(r)

7 = r

radius = 7 cm

Circumference = 2πr

C = 2 * 22/7 * 7

C = 44 cm

The circumference of circle is 44 cm

Given :-

  • Area of circle is 3.5 time of its circumference

We need to find :-

  • Circumference of the circle = ?

Solution :-

By the given information ,

3 × ( Circumference ) = Area of circle

As we know that ,

  • Circumference = 2πr
  • Area of circle = πr²

Substituting we have ,

→ 3.5 × ( 2πr ) = πr²

→ 7πr = πr²

→ 7 = πr²/πr

→ 7 = r

Radius = 7cm

Now , finding circumference

Circumference = 2πr

→ Circumference = 2(22/7)(7)

→ Circumference = 2(22)

Circumference = 44cm

Hence , circumference of the circle is 44cm
