Answer: HEY MATE YOUR ANSWER IS

1. x²+8x +12

2. 1, 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

The usual form of a quadratic polynomial is ax² + bx + c

Let the the zeros be αand β

Therefore sum of zeros =  α + β= 8

And product of zeros= αβ= 12

α + β= coefficient of x/ coefficient of x²

      = 8/1

And

αβ= constant/coefficient of x²

   = 12/1

So the polynomial is x²+8x +12

3.

The no. Of zeros of the polynomial is the degree of the polynomial

Since √2 & -√2 are zeros of the polynomial, ( x -√2) (x +√2 ) = x² -2 is also a factor of polynomial  .  WE NOW MUST DIVIDE IT WITH THE POLYNOMIAL

Division is done in the attachment

We get the quotient as 2x²- 3x +1

By using splitting the middle term

We get 2x² -2x -x +1

We get ( 2x-1 ) ( x-1 )

If 2x-1 = 0

x = 1/2

If x-1= 0

x = 1

So the degree of the polynomial was 4 so we have four zeros

So the zeros are  1, 1/2 , √2, -√2
