It protects us from the harmful radiations of the Earth. Earth's atmosphere is about 300 miles thick. The gases like Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon dioxide, Neon, Helium etc, contribute to the Earth's atmosphere. It is divided into 5 layers- exosphere, thermosphere,mesosphere, stratosphere and troposphere.Aug 29, 2017
