Lets The The Required axis be A(-2,0), B(0,4),C(0,k)
Now,
AB^2= (0-(-2))^2 + (4-0)^2
=2^2+4^2
=4+16
=20
AB= root 20
Now,
BC^2= (0-0)^2 + (k-4)^2
=k^2 - [2(k*4)] + 4^2
=k^2 - 8k + 16
