 \sqrt{2} + \frac{1}{ \sqrt{5} } \\ = \sqrt{2 } + \frac{2 \times \sqrt{5} }{2 \times 5} \\ = \sqrt{2 } + \frac{2 \sqrt{5} }{10} \\ = 1.414 + \frac{4.472}{10} \\ = 1.414 + 0.4472 \\ = 1.8512
