Flowers are the reproductive organs of the plant.

They are temptresses, enticing with color, fragrance and shape to attract pollinators.

Delicate, ephemeral, laterally symmetrical or radially symmetrical they perfect themselves to suit their suitors and we can find our kinship to bees, bats and birds by recognizing that we are prey to the same enticements.

• There is a difference between liking and loving. Those who really love them, they would definitely take proper care of them by regularly watering them so that they grow well in the garden.

• Another group of people would just enjoy the beauty of flowers and plants but they don’t bother about how to take proper care of them. So this group may be included in those who only like to see the beauty of flowers and plants: they don’t really love them.

• Yet another group of people may not react at all towards enjoying their beauty. They even won’t bother to look after a garden also. Why???

• Because, these are some of the people who may have have been going through a severe depression, out of a trauma of having lost a very close and dear fellow. There may be other reasons also, such as extreme frustration, incurring heavy loss in a business, low moods, so on and so forth. At this juncture of time, they won’t be able to appreciate the beauty of anything. Even if some attempts are made to show them, they will not react. It’s because, they are already preoccupied or obsessed with their own thoughts, even if they might seem to be looking at the flowers and plants.

• Some may be suffering from mental illnesses such as OCD and may have a fear of contamination for everything. They actually have a phobia to touch any object, less it might cause germs/bacteria which are going to harm their body.

• Yet another group of people, who are severely brain injured,mentally retarded or physically handicapped persons who won’t be able to appreciate the beauty of flowers and plants.
