The average speed of the car is 60 km/hr.

A car covers a distance of 60 km in the first hour, 55 km in the second hour, 70 km in the third hour, 50 km in the fourth hour, 65km in the fifth hour and 60 km in the sixth hour.

We have to find the average speed of the car and plot a distance - time graph for the same.

Average speed : average speed is the ratio of total distance to total time taken.

\text{average speed}=\frac{\text{total distance}}{\text{total time taken}}

Here total distance = 60 km + 55 km + 70 km + 50 km + 65 km + 60 km

= 360 km

total time taken = 1 hr + 1 hr + 1 hr + 1 hr + 1hr + 1hr = 6 hrs.

∴ Average speed = 360 km/6 hrs = 60 km/hr.

Therefore the average speed of the car is 60 km/hr.

Plotting the distance - time graph.

Data :      distance               time

                   60 km                    1 hr

                   55 km                    1 hr

                   70 km                    1 hr

                   50 km                    1 hr

                   65 km                    1 hr

                    60 km                   1 hr
