4×side=48

side=48÷4

side=12

area of square=side×side

=12×12

=144 cm Sq.

SO area of rectangle=144-4=140

given

length of rectangle=14 cm

length×breadth=140

14×b=140

b=140÷14

b=10

so perimeter = 2×l+b

=2×14+10

=2×24

=48cm
