Solution :-

Let us assume that, the given natural number is x.

given that,

→ when x is increased by 12 = 160 times of reciprocal of x .

So,

→ (x + 12) = 160 * (1/x)

→ x(x + 12) = 160

→ x² + 12x - 160 = 0

→ x² + 20x - 8x - 160 = 0

→ x(x + 20) - 8(x + 20) = 0

→ (x + 20)(x - 8) = 0

Putting both equal to zero,

→ x = (-20) or 8.

since x is a natural number. Therefore, (-20) is not Possible.

Hence, The required number is 8. (Option B).
