Given that the Volume of Brass specimen as 2.2 × 1000 cm³ = 2200 cm³

Now this Brass specimen is made into a Cylindrical wire of Diameter 0.50 cm

⇒ As both Brass specimen and Cylindrical wire are made with same amount of Brass : The Volume of Brass specimen must be Equal to the Volume of the Cylindrical wire.

We know that Volume of  Cylinder is πr²L

where r is the radius of the cylinder and L is the length of the cylinder.

Given the Diameter of Cylinder as 0.50 cm

⇒ The Radius of the Cylinder is 0.50/2 = 0.25

Volume of Brass specimen = Volume of Cylindrical wire

⇒ 2200 = π × 0.25 × 0.25 × L

⇒ 2200 = 22/7 × 0.25 × 0.25 × L

⇒ 700 = 0.0625 × L

⇒ L = 700/0.0625 = 11200 cm

So the length of the Cylindrical wire is 11200 cm
