In the given fig lines AB and CD intersect each other
at a point E
Find the value of x, y and z

angle DEC = 180°

=> x + 60 + 2x = 180

=> 3x. = 120

=> x. = 40°

angle AEB = 180°

=> 2x + z = 180

=> 2x40 + z = 180

=> z = 100°

and

=> z + 5y = 180°. linear pair

=> 100 + 5y = 180

=> 20 + y = 36

=> y. = 16

therefore

x = 40°

y = 16°

z = 100°
