• A typical flower consists of different parts that are Calyx, Corolla, Androecium, Gynoeciym.

• Calyx Function -- Calyx contains green colored structures they are called sepals.

The calyx is the outer part of the flower. It will protect the flower buds.

• The function of corolla -- Corolla contains bright colored petals that the petals attract the insects for pollination.

• The function of androecium -- It consists of a group of stamens. Stamens consist of filament and anther.

The androecium is the male reproductive organ in the flower. Androecium produces pollen grains.
