Answer:

The value of b is 30 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

2(2d + 4 + d ) = 188

To find -

The value of d

Solution -

For simplifying we will use BODMAS,

As per BODMAS rule,

B for Bracket

O for Of

D for Divide

M for Multiply

A for Addition

S for Subtraction

As per  given equation,

2(2d + 4 + d ) = 188

Multiply 2 by bracket we get

4d + 8 + 2d = 188

Add the numbers which are having same variable

6b+8=188

Shift 8 to right side it will be (-8)

6b=188-8

6b= 188-8

6b =180

Divide both side by 6 we get

b=30

The value of b is 30 .

  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

          Given data:- 2(2d+4+d)=188.

          To find:- Value of the expression.

          Solution:-

  • Here, we will use the below following steps to find a solution using the transposition method.
  • Here we will use the transposition method.
  • Transposition is one of the linear equations.
  • To solve the transposition method we wi.ll Identify the variables and constants.
  • Then we Simplify the equation in LHS and RHS.
  • Now Simplify the equation using arithmetic operations.

        By using the transposition method.

        we get,

               2(2d+4+d)=188\\\Rightarrow 4d+8+2d=188\\\Rightarrow 8+6d=188\\\Rightarrow 6d=188-8\\\Rightarrow 6d=180\\\Rightarrow d= \frac{180}{6} \\\Rightarrow d=30.

     Hence we will get the value d=30.
