Hi friend,

2 (2x - 1) = 3 (x + 1)
4x - 2 = 3x + 3
4x - 3x = 3 + 2
x = 5

In transposition process the +becomes- and -becomes +
Minus to plus and plus to minus.so the result of this problem will be 5.
