assume that root 2- 3root 15 is a rational number
so root 2-3 root 15=a/b(a n b are co prime no.and also integers)
root 2=a/b+3 root 15
root 2 = a+ 3 root 15b by b
since a n b r integers
so a+3 root 15 , b r also some integers
so it contradict our assumption that root 2 - 3root 15 is a rational no.
Hence proved
