2/3 = 0.7

4/5 + 7/8 = 0.8+0.9 = 1.7

Now,

2/3 ×(4/5+7/8) = 0.7 × 1.7 = 1.1

2/3×4/5 = 0.5

2/3×7/8 = 0.6

Now,

(2/3×4/5)+(2/3×7/8) = 0.5 + 0.6 = 1.1
