Here this identity is used:-

⟹ </p><p>(a + b)(a - b) =  {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2}

let's suppose here ; a=2√3 & b =√5

⟹</p><p>(2 \sqrt{3}  +  \sqrt{5} )(2 \sqrt{3}  -  \sqrt{5} )

⟹</p><p> {(2 \sqrt{3}) }^{2}  -  {( \sqrt{5}) }^{2}

⟹</p><p>2 \times 2 \times 3 - 5( {( \sqrt{3}) }^{2} =  \sqrt{3} \times  \sqrt{3}  = 3))

⟹</p><p>12 - 5 = 7

by using the following identity:-

➟ (a + b)(a - b) = {a}^{2} - {b}^{2}

so here ; a=2√3 & b =√5

➟ (2 \sqrt{3} + \sqrt{5} )(2 \sqrt{3} - \sqrt{5} )

➟ {(2 \sqrt{3}) }^{2} - {( \sqrt{5}) }^{2}

➟ 2 \times 2 \times 3 - 5( {( \sqrt{3}) }^{2} = \sqrt{3} \times \sqrt{3} = 3))

➟ 12 - 5 = 7.
