( 2x / 3 ) - 5 = ( 3x / 4 ) + 1

2x / 3 - 3x / 4 = 1 + 5

( 4 x 2x ) - ( 3 x 3x ) / 12 = 6

8x - 9x / 12 = 6

- x = 6 x 12

x = - 72

Step-by-step explanation:

( \frac{2x}{3})  - 5 = ( \frac{3x}{4} ) + 1 \\ \\   \frac{2x - 15}{3}  =  \frac{3x + 4}{4}  \\  \\ 8x - 60 = 9x + 12 \\  \\ 8x - 9x = 12 + 60 \\  \\  - x = 72 \\  \\ x =  - 72

I hope it helps you............
