  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

         Given data:-\frac{2}{3} -\frac{-5}{6} ..

To find:- the value of the given expression.

         Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

      Therefore,

             \frac{2}{3} -\frac{-5}{6} \\=\frac{2\times2-(-5\times1)}{6} \\=\frac{9}{6} \\=\frac{3}{2} .

Hence we will get the value \frac{3}{2} .
