Answer:

There are some properties which are not followed by the subtraction of rational numbers

There are four basic properties of numbers: commutative, associative, distributive, and identity.

Commutative property- The commutative property of addition tells us numbers can be added in any order and you will still get the same answer.

Eg. adding 1 + 2 or 2 + 1 will give us the same answer

In case of multiplication:- 4 x 3=12 and 3 x 4=12

Fact:-Commutative property is not applicable for subtraction [eg.4-3=1 and 3-4= (-1)] so it is not applicable for subtraction.

Closure property- The closure property means that a set is closed for some mathematical operation.
