This is the story of ‘The book of courtiers’ which tells how the courtiers should be. This story was set in the parlor where the workers conduct a debate of ‘how a courtier should be’ just for entertainment. A young man Abdul says the courtier should the best friend and advisor for king or queen.
The courtier in the first place should be a soldier. He should be a brave warrior, skilled in archery, swimmer, sportsman to show his strength and excellence. The other person stood up and said it was the language that dominates the other courtiers with their dialect.
Abdul said the diction should be correct and also he should have social skills, wit and should have an easy conversation from poor people to the king. He should sing and dance gracefully and should have the ability to attract people effectively. He should also have political wit in case of transactions or trades between other towns and states.
