√3= 1.732,2=2 and √3 +2= 3.732

This cannot be added, because:

2 is a rational number, whereas √3 is irrational, a.k.a. √3 is non-terminating decimal, so you can't by any chance get the absolute results of operations on this number.

For approximation, we take √3=1.732, but that ain't the absolute correct value of √3 as I mentioned earlier. So, the sum cannot be added without uncertainties.

Approximation : 2+√3 = 2+1.732 =3.732...
