let √2+√3 be rational number written in form of p/q

=> √2+√3 = p/q

=> √3 = p/q - √2

=> √3 = (p/q - √2)²

=> √3 = p²/q² + 2 - 2√2p/q

This contradicts the fact that 3 is rational and 3 is irrational

Hence 2+3 is irrational

hope it helps
