here the given number is 2/3 ,it is in the rational form.
Equivalent rational number: Rational numbers having one or more common factors in p and q.
so, equivalent rational numbers of 2/3 can so many in numbers.
2/3 = 4/6 = 12/18 = 24/36 = 8/12 = 22/33 etc are equivalent rational number of 2/3.
- Method to find equivalent decimal:
multiply same number in numerator and denominator.
for eg: 2*2/3*2 = 4/6
