2/3 ( x + ) = 7/2

2x/3 + 2/3 x 3/5 = 7/2

2x/3 + 2/5 = 7/2

2x/3 = 7/2 - 2/5

LCM = 10

2x/3 = ( 7 x 5 - 2 x 2 ) / 10

2x/3 = ( 35 - 4 ) / 10

2x/3 = 31/10

Cross multiplying

2x ( 10 ) = 31 x 3

20x = 93

x = 93/20

Question :

  •  \sf \dfrac{2}{3} \Bigg(x+ \dfrac{3}{5} \Bigg) = \dfrac{7}{2}

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀

Solution :

 \sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{2}{3} \Bigg(x+ \dfrac{3}{5} \Bigg) = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow \Bigg(\dfrac{2}{3} \times x\Bigg) + \Bigg(\dfrac{2}{3} \times \dfrac{3}{5} \Bigg) = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{2x}{3} + \dfrac{6}{15} = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{2x \times 5}{3\times 5} + \dfrac{6}{15} = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{10x}{15} + \dfrac{6}{15} = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{10x + 6}{15} = \dfrac{7}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x + 6 = \dfrac{7}{2} \times 15

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x + 6 = \dfrac{105}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x = \dfrac{105}{2} - 6

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x = \dfrac{105}{2} - \dfrac{6 \times 2}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x = \dfrac{105}{2} - \dfrac{12}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x = \dfrac{105 - 12}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow 10x = \dfrac{93}{2}

 \sf \dashrightarrow x = \dfrac{93}{2 \times 10}

 \sf \dashrightarrow x = \dfrac{93}{20}

 \sf \dashrightarrow x = 4.65

 \Large \underline{\boxed{\bf{x = 4.65}}}

⠀⠀ ⠀

Hence, value of x is 4.65.
