 \frac{2}{3}  \times x =  \frac{4}{15}  \\ x =  \frac{4}{15}  \times  \frac{3}{2}  \\ x =  \frac{12}{30}  \\ x =  \frac{2}{5}  \\  \\  \\ so \:  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{4}{15}

Solution :

\bigstar Let the number be = x

On transposing the terms :

x =  \large \:  \frac{4}{15}  \times  \frac{3}{2}

 \implies \: x =  \large \frac{2}{5}

\therefore The number is 2/5

Check -:

  \huge\frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{4}{15}

 \huge \frac{4}{15}  =  \frac{4}{15}
