Hey MATE!

If we talk about positive numbers then this statement holds upto the fullest . Eg.,
2 > 2( \frac{2}{3} ) \\ 2 >  \frac{4}{3}  \\ 2  > 1.33333....


But if we take negative numbers then it does not proves to be correct. For example :

 - 2 <   \frac{ - 4}{3}  \\ or - 2 <  - 1.33333....
This is because the numbers which come on right side of number line are greater.
