2x+3y=8_____(i)

4x+2y=10____(ii)

Eq. (i)×2

4x+6y=16

4x+2y=10

Substract

4y=6

y=6/4=3/2

Put value of y in eq. (i)

2x+3×3/2=8

2x+9/2=8

2x=8-9/2

2x=16-9/2

2x=7/2

x=7/4
