rational number is a number in p/q form

yes it is rational number

first we know a rational no.

definition : a no. in the form of p/q , where p & q are integers & having no any common factor other than 1 (or are in the simplest form )

This is one of the best question that arises in mind 2/4 seems a rational no. but violating the aspect of rational no bcz 2/4 have two common factors (i.e 1 & 2 ) .

Don’t be quit it is obviously not a rational no. rather it’s equivalent of rational no. 1/2 .

& at the end someone is saying 2/4 is a rational no. he is wrong .

i hope your time seems valuable after studying the short paragraph.
