In context to question asked,

We have to determine the value of \frac{2}{4} of Rs. 1

So, for determining the required value,

We will first convert  \frac{2}{4}  in its simplest form,

So, we will divide the numerator and denominator of the given fraction by 2.

We will get the simplest form of fraction as \frac{1}{2}

Now determining the  \frac{1}{2} of the given number.

We will get,

\frac[1}{2}\times Rs.\:1\\=>\frac{1}{2}\:Rs.

So, converting the rupee into paise,

We will multiply by 100

Hence, we will get,

\frac{1}{2}\times 100 = 50 \:paise

Hence,  \frac{2}{4} of Rs. 1 will be 0.5 rupee or 50 paise.
