2.46gm of NaOH is dissolved in water solution and solution is made 500ml calculate the molarity of solution ​

☆Molarity is number of moles which dissolved in one litre of solution

M= n÷V

☆ No of moles of NaOH calculated as a result of dividing the sample mass over molar mass of NaOH

●N= ms ÷ Mwt = 2.46 ÷ 40 = 0.06 mol

●Volume V= 500÷ 1000 = 0.5 l

●So, M = 0.06 ÷ 0.5 = 0.12 mol/l
