The fraction are 2/5, 1/3 , -3/4 , 1/6

First we find the L.C.M. of the denominators of the fractions to make the denominators same.

L.C.M. of 5, 3, 4 and 6 = 60

Now to make the fraction as like fractions divide the L.C.M. by the denominator of fractions, then multiply both the numerator and denominator of fraction with the number get after dividing L.C.M.

As in fraction 2/5 denominator is 5

Divide 60 ÷ 5 = 12

Now, multiply both numerator and denominator by 12 = 2 × 12/5× 12 = 24/60

Similarly, 1/3= 1 ×20 /3× 20 = 20/60 (because 60 ÷ 3 = 20)

-3/4= -3×15/4×15 = -45/60 (because 60÷ 4 = 15)

and 1/6 = 1× 10/6 × 10 = 10/60 (because 60 ÷ 6 =10)

Now, we compare the like fractions 24/60, 12/60, -45/60 and 10/60

Comparing numerators, we find that -45 < 10 <20 < 24

Therefore, -45/60 <10/60< 20/60 < 24/60

or -3/4 < 1/6 < 1/3 > 2/5

The ascending order of the fractions is -3/4< 1/6 < 1/3 < 2/5.
