(2√5+√3)²

.

apply (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b²:

= (2√5)² + 2(2√5)(√3) + (√3)²

.

Simplify each term:

[ Remember that (√5)(√5) will give us 5 and (√3)(√3) will give us 3.

Also, Remember that (√5)(√3) will give us √15. ]

= 4(5) + 2(2)(√15) + (3)

.

Simplify each term:

= 20 + 4√15 + 3

.

Combine like terms:

= 23 + 4√5

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer: 23 + 4√5
