To solve questions like this which have more than one operator you need to follow the BODMAS rule.

B - bracket

O - of

D - division

M - multiplication

A - addition

S - subtraction

either you can change the fractions into decimal after dividing or you can leave it to be in the fractional form

Fractional form :

1 Multiplication :

-6/35 - 3/12 + 2/70

2 reducing to lowest term

-6/35 - 1/4 +1/35

since 1st and 3rd term have same denominator we can add them together to make calculation faster

-5/35 -1/4

=-1/7 -1/4

taking them to same denominator

= -4-7/28

= -11/28
