gram of water calculate its concentration as percentage by mass​

Answer: 5%

Explanation: mass of solute(sugar)=2.5 g

                      mass of solvent(water)=47.5 g

                    total mass of solution(sugar+water)=(47.5+2.5) g

                                                                              =50 g

               so,concentration by mass=mass(solute)/mass(solution)*100%

                                                            =(2.5/50)*100 %

                                                               =5%
