Given:  5 metres of ribbon is cut off from 15 metres of ribbon

To Find : What part will be remaining?

(A) 1/3 part

B) 1/5 part

C) 2/3 part

D) 1/10 part

Solution:

Length of ribbon = 15 m

Ribbon cut = 5 m

Ribbon Left = 15 - 5  = 10 m

Part Remaining  =  Ribbon Left / Total Ribbon

= 10/15

= 2/3

Hence 2/3 part  of Ribbon is left

Option C)  2/3 part is correct
